We had the opportunity to welcome colleagues from Kazakhstan’s oil and gas and energy sectors to GL Group as part of the off-site program “Leadership, Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development in the Energy Sector” organized by ADA University. Held in Baku from 13–19 September, the program brought together industry professionals to explore leadership, Azerbaijan’s energy sector, digital transformation, sustainability and the energy transition.
As one of the program’s practical industry-focused sessions, the delegation visited GL Group, as well as our affiliates, Taghiyev Operating Company (TOC) and GL Technical Services (GLTS). Beyond introducing our activities and operations, we had the opportunity to provide first-hand exposure to field operations through visits to TOC’s Centralized Controlling Room, Buzovna Terminal and Well No. 1392, as well as the GLTS Base and its workover rig.
For us, the visit was a great opportunity to share our practical experience, exchange perspectives and engage in open professional dialogue. We believe that bringing industry professionals together in this way creates valuable opportunities for mutual learning and continued knowledge exchange, and we look forward to building on this through our cooperation with ADA University.
