A GL Group delegation led by Asif Zeynalov, Group CEO and Chairman of the Advisory Board, attended the Baker Hughes Well Construction Technology Showcase in Baku.
In his address, Asif Zeynalov reaffirmed his message from the Baku Energy Forum on collaboration as a competitive advantage for Azerbaijan’s oil and gas sector. He stressed the value of combining operators’ asset knowledge with technology companies’ expertise through early engagement, with a sound technical and commercial basis for working together.
GL Group’s five-year strategic cooperation services agreement with Baker Hughes, signed in the United States in July 2026, provides a framework for putting this approach into practice through closer technical engagement between the two companies.
