Asif Zeynalov, Group Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Advisory Board of GL Group, spoke at the Energy Intelligence Forum 2026 in London during the session “Energy Resilience Across the Middle East, Caspian Sea and Caucasus.”
During the discussion, Mr. Zeynalov shared GL’s perspective as an independent operator on the attractiveness of Azerbaijan’s energy sector to international investors, highlighting its world-class assets, established infrastructure, experienced workforce and strong industry ecosystem.
He also discussed GL Group’s growth strategy, portfolio management and approach to creating value from mature producing assets, emphasizing the Group’s focus on disciplined capital allocation, operational agility, technology and continuous learning. He outlined GL Group’s interest in North America and the Middle East, and the importance of building strong local relationships and partnerships as these markets continue to evolve.
