As part of this milestone, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Pardue as Executive Vice-President, North America. Bill will lead our operations, strategic development, and expansion across the region.
This milestone reflects our long-term commitment to the U.S. energy market and strengthens our position as an internationally recognized energy company.
Bill brings more than 30 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, having built an accomplished career spanning reservoir engineering, field operations, acquisitions, business development, and executive leadership. He began his career as a Production & Reservoir Engineer with Meridian Oil/Burlington Resources before progressing into senior leadership roles at a private family office oil and gas company, Enduro Resource Partners, and Encore Acquisition Company. Throughout his career, he has managed producing assets, led multidisciplinary teams, and contributed to the evaluation and development of upstream opportunities across several of the United States' leading oil and gas basins.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas and an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES), and the Texas Tech Petroleum Engineering Academy.
In his new role, Bill will report directly to our Group CEO and will serve as a member of GL Group's Executive Team.
