We are pleased to announce that, effective 1 October 2025, Oleg Reshikov has been appointed as GL Group’s Director of Operational Excellence.
In this role, he will report to Elman Seyidov, Senior Vice President of Operations in Azerbaijan.
Oleg Reshikov brings 33 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has successfully managed complex and high-risk operations for bp in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, France, Norway, and Singapore. In his new position, Oleg will lead the implementation and continuous development of existing processes within GL Group’s Operations Management System (OMS) across all business areas. He will oversee their efficiency and integration into the Continuous Improvement (CI) process. In addition, he will contribute to building the necessary infrastructure to ensure effective oversight of ongoing operations and robust emergency management capabilities. The Group’s HSE team will also report directly to him.
Oleg studied Maritime Sciences in Azerbaijan and holds a Level 2 Diploma from NEBOSH (the UK’s National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health).
He is also a veteran of the First Karabakh War and, in 2018, was awarded the “Progress” Medal by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
