We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nahid Nuriyev as General Manager of GL Group’s affiliate, Taghiyev Operating Company (TOC), effective 1 December 2025.
Nahid Nuriyev currently serves as Deputy General Manager for Operations at TOC. In his new role, he will report to Elman Seyidov, GL Group’s Group Senior Vice-President for Operations in Azerbaijan.
He is a seasoned operations professional with 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, bringing strong expertise in production operations and proven leadership capabilities. His deep technical knowledge, hands-on field experience, and commitment to operational excellence have played a key role in advancing TOC’s performance. These strengths will continue to support the company’s growth under his leadership.
Nahid Nuriyev holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Geology from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and a master’s degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, specializing in oil and gas field development, from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Ukraine). We are confident that his leadership will further strengthen TOC’s performance and operational reliability.
