GL Group’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Farida Aghayeva, spoke as a panelist at the INMerge Innovation Summit 2025.
Recognized as one of the region’s most prestigious events, the INMerge Innovation Summit is a unique platform that underscores the strategic importance of innovation for businesses, societies, and governments.
In her speech, Ms. Aghayeva emphasized that innovation is not only about technology, but also about sound business models, effective collaboration, and above all – human capital.
She shared GL Group’s recent achievements with participants, including halting the long-term natural decline in production, successfully completing the drilling of six new wells last year, planning the drilling of the first onshore horizontal well in Azerbaijan, and establishing international partnerships in research and development.
Ms. Aghayeva also highlighted the pivotal role of innovation in human resources, the creation of a psychologically safe work environment, and the promotion of a culture of continuous learning in driving corporate growth.
