Group CEO and Chairman of the Advisory Board of GL Group, Asif Zeynalov, spoke at the Baku Energy Forum "Executive Talks: Energy Security 2.0" panel, emphasizing the critical importance of energy security.
“Energy security ensures continuous, reliable, and affordable access to energy for all,” said Mr. Zeynalov.
“It involves investing in resilient infrastructure, diversifying energy sources, and balancing traditional and renewable energy to prevent disruptions and maintain a steady supply.”
The global push towards net-zero emissions, while crucial, must be balanced with continued investment in traditional energy sources to bridge current needs and future sustainability goals.
“GL Group currently operates in five significant oil and gas fields in Azerbaijan and is committed to contributing to energy security and a sustainable energy supply,” added Mr. Zeynalov.
