David Triolo

David Triolo was appointed to the position of Wells and Drilling Director as of 1 November 2022, reporting to Vice-President of Operations.

David has very extensive international experience in drilling, completion, and workover of wells.  He worked for 33 years with Amoco/bp then the remaining years with Husky Energy.  He was involved in major projects around the world including North America, the UK, UAE, Egypt, West Africa, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, and China.  David’s experience comprises onshore, offshore, and deep-water operations. Twelve years were spent working in bp Azerbaijan’s ACG and Shah Deniz fields. His roles include rig drilling engineer, well site leader, bp Shah Deniz Wells superintendent to Director of Drilling and Completions for Husky Energy’s Asia-Pacific division.

He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering.
